摘 要
此次设计一种刹车片检测系统,利用单片机STC89C52和配套的电位器和ADC0832模块,实现对刹车片厚度的测量和报警功能。该系统通过测量刹车片的厚度,当厚度小于用户设置的最小值时,会触发声光报警,提醒用户刹车片需要更换。
在研究设计阶段,选用了STC89C52单片机作为系统的核心控制器,并结合电位器和ADC0832模块,实现对刹车片厚度的准确测量。通过调整电位器,用户可以方便地设置最小厚度值,以满足不同刹车片的需求。同时,采用LCD1602显示模块,将测量数据直观地展示给用户。此次设计成功地完成了刹车片检测系统的设计与实现。经过实验验证,系统能够准确地测量刹车片的厚度,并在检测到厚度小于最小值时,及时触发声光报警,确保车辆的行驶安全。本项目的实现意义在于提供了一种简单、实用的刹车片检测方案,能够帮助车辆维护人员及时监测刹车片的磨损情况,预防因刹车片磨损导致的行车事故。此外,通过使用单片机和相关模块进行设计,还展示了单片机在车辆安全领域的应用潜力,为相关领域的研究和开发提供了借鉴和参考。

Abstract
In this design, a brake pad detection system is developed using the microcontroller STC89C52 along with a potentiometer and ADC0832 module to measure the thickness of the brake pads and provide alarm functionality. The system measures the thickness of the brake pads and triggers a sound and light alarm when the thickness falls below the user-defined minimum value, indicating the need for replacement.During the research and design phase, the STC89C52 microcontroller is chosen as the core controller of the system. It is combined with a potentiometer and ADC0832 module to accurately measure the thickness of the brake pads. Users can conveniently set the minimum thickness value by adjusting the potentiometer to meet the requirements of different brake pads. Additionally, an LCD1602 display module is used to present the measured data visually to the user.The design and implementation of the brake pad detection system were successfully completed. Experimental results confirm that the system can accurately measure the thickness of the brake pads and trigger a sound and light alarm when the thickness falls below the minimum value, ensuring safe vehicle operation. The significance of this project lies in providing a simple and practical solution for brake pad detection, enabling timely monitoring of brake pad wear for vehicle maintenance personnel and preventing accidents caused by worn brake pads. Moreover, by utilizing a microcontroller and related modules in the design, the project showcases the potential application of microcontrollers in the field of vehicle safety, providing valuable references for research and development in related areas.
