Abstract
This paper presents the design of an intelligent air quality monitoring system based on STM32F103C8T6 microcontroller. The system utilizes various sensors such as DS18B20, MS1100, MQ-7, and GP2Y10 to detect temperature, formaldehyde levels, CO levels, and PM2.5 levels. It controls and alerts through means like fans and sound-light alarms. Moreover, the system supports threshold settings via buttons and displays measurement data on an OLED screen. Importantly, it incorporates a WIFI module for data transmission to a mobile device, enabling remote monitoring and modification of thresholds. The designed system has several notable features: multi-sensor detection for comprehensive air quality monitoring ensuring user health and safety; multiple control methods including fans and sound-light alarms for enhanced control and alert capabilities; threshold settings via buttons allowing users to customize according to their needs; OLED screen for intuitive display of data with simple operation; WIFI module supporting remote monitoring and modification of thresholds so that users can monitor and control the system anytime, anywhere. This intelligent air quality monitoring system has broad application prospects in various fields such as homes, offices, and public spaces, providing a healthier and safer environment for people’s lives and work.
