Abstract
This paper presents the design and implementation of an intelligent indoor air quality monitoring and control system based on the STC89C52 microcontroller. The system integrates multiple practical functions aimed at enhancing indoor air quality to ensure user health and comfort. The specific functionalities of the system include:Utilizing the MQ-2 sensor to detect smoke levels. Once smoke surpasses the preset maximum value, the system triggers sound and light alarms, and automatically activates fans and purifiers to effectively eliminate indoor pollution.Employing the MQ-5 sensor to detect natural gas or coal gas levels. If gas concentrations exceed the set safety threshold, the system initiates sound and light alarms and automatically turns on fans and purifiers to ensure indoor gas safety.Employing the DHT11 sensor to continuously monitor indoor temperature and humidity, providing accurate environmental information.Designing user-friendly buttons that allow users to set fan and purifier operation modes, adjust thresholds, and manually control device switches.Utilizing an LCD display screen to showcase real-time data such as smoke levels, gas concentrations, temperature, and humidity, providing users with intuitive monitoring results.This system combines sensor detection, data processing, and device control technologies to comprehensively monitor and regulate indoor air quality, thereby creating a comfortable and healthy living environment for users.
