With the continuous advancement of modern technology, the application of automatic door systems in commercial spaces is becoming increasingly widespread. This project aims to design and implement an intelligent supermarket automatic door system, utilizing the STC89C52 microcontroller as the core controller. The system features various intelligent sensing and control functionalities to enhance the user experience and convenience in the supermarket entrance area. The system employs a human body pyroelectric infrared sensor module to detect human activity in the doorway, enabling automatic door opening and closing. Separated infrared photoelectric beams are installed both inside and outside the door to monitor human entry and exit, facilitating intelligent announcements and automatic door control. Additionally, the system accommodates manual intervention with a dedicated manual door opening button. Through well-designed control strategies and delay settings, the system ensures that door operations are not only smooth but also safe and reliable. This intelligent supermarket automatic door system will provide users with a more convenient and intelligent shopping experience, enhancing the supermarket’s image and service quality. In the future, there is potential to further optimize the system’s algorithms and interaction design, and to expand the range of intelligent functionalities, making the supermarket entrance area even more intelligent and comfortable.
