ABSTRACT
The master and slave fire detection system based on RS485 is designed to provide reliable security for modern buildings through efficient data transmission and intelligent analysis.
The system is composed of two core parts, slave and host, and realizes stable data transmission and real-time interaction through RS485 bus. As a detection unit, the slave is integrated with the MQ-2 smoke sensor, which can accurately perceive the smoke concentration in the environment and send the detected smoke value to the host through the RS485 bus in real time. This design ensures the fast transmission and accuracy of data, and provides a solid data foundation for the early warning of fires. The host plays the role of data processing and decision making. It can not only receive the smoke value sent by the slave through the RS485 bus, but also allow the user to set the upper limit of the smoke concentration by pressing the button. When the received smoke value exceeds the preset limit, the master will immediately trigger the audible and visual alarm system to attract people’s attention and take corresponding measures. At the same time, the host is also equipped with LCD1602 display, which is used to display the current smoke concentration and alarm status in real time, providing users with intuitive and clear information display. This design makes full use of the stability and reliability of RS485 bus communication, as well as the high sensitivity and accuracy of MQ-2 smoke sensor, and realizes the real-time monitoring and early warning of fire hazards. In addition, through user-friendly interface design and convenient operation mode, the system not only improves the intelligent level of fire detection, but also enhances the user’s experience and satisfaction.
